Labels can be seen everywhere in life. The earliest labels were used to mark product goals and categories or content, and were tools that facilitated self and others to find and locate goals. At this stage, most of the labels are printed materials used to identify relevant instructions for their products.


The wide application of labels and the continuous development of label varieties have promoted the development of label printing technology. Various labeling machines have emerged one after another. One full-rotary printing machine is equivalent to ten small trademark printing machines. The printing efficiency of the rotary machine is Greatly improved, the whole process of computer numerical control operation can also correspond to the label design according to different products.


The full-rotary letterpress printing machine adopts a high-precision central pressing cylinder design to ensure the printing registration accuracy, compact structure and convenient operation; full servo automatic control further improves the registration accuracy of the machine, the flexibility of the process and the diversification of substrates. When the machine is running or shutting down, the register can be adjusted, with excellent register accuracy, stepless length register, and the lateral register of each working position can be adjusted by ±5mm. This machine can complete the process: multi-layer label, front and back printing multi-color arbitrary combination, partial de-glue, front and rear holographic positioning cold foil, secondary automatic positioning die-cutting, connection transfer film and non-glue film.

Common printing faults In letterpress printing, the faults that often occur are: smearing of the back side, ink penetrating, static electricity, etc. These faults affect the quality of printing, and corresponding measures must be taken to eliminate them.


Smudge on the back The ink printed on the substrate sticks to the back of another printed sheet, causing smear. To prevent smearing on the back side, a powder spraying device is generally installed in the delivery part of the printing press to disperse the fine particles of calcium carbonate between the printed sheets. In addition, it accelerates the drying of the ink, reduces the height of the printed sheet stack, and puts paper with good ink absorption between the printed sheets, etc., which have an inhibitory effect on smearing.


Feimo


The phenomenon of small droplets of ink flying in the air is called "flying ink", also called ink mist, which is the most common failure of high-speed rotary letterpress printing machines. To slow down the "flying ink" phenomenon, you can increase the humidity in the printing room and use conductive inks such as water-based inks.


Ink penetrating


Ink penetrating refers to the phenomenon that the front side print can be seen on the back side of the printed sheet. To prevent ink penetrating, you can choose a tight paper for printing, or you can increase the viscosity of the ink and appropriately reduce the printing pressure.


Static electricity


During the printing process, the paper is not easy to separate, the paper on the delivery table is not neatly received, or the paper on the delivery table is skewed and inaccurate, all of which may be caused by static electricity. To eliminate printing static electricity, a static eliminator is generally installed on the printing press to ionize the air around the printing press, thereby neutralizing the positive and negative static electricity on the paper. It is also possible to spray an appropriate amount of water mist around the printing press or above and behind the impression cylinder to eliminate static electricity on the paper. In addition, increasing the humidity in the printing workshop is conducive to the elimination of static electricity.
